This explains what Mike's Flooring keeps when you use this website, and what we do with it. Updated October 27, 2026.

Who we are

Mike's Flooring is an owner-operated hardwood flooring business at 3981 Kump Station Rd., Taneytown, MD 21787. Call or text (410) 259-7094 if you have a question about this policy.

What you can send us

The estimate asks for the kind of work, your ZIP code, the size of the floor, and a few questions about the rooms. If you want Mike to follow up, it also asks for your name, phone number, email address, and any note you choose to add. You can upload photos of the floor. Those photos are optional.

If you only want to see a price range and you say you are researching, the site does not ask you to become a lead. The answers you already entered may still be stored with that estimate so the page can show you the range again.

How it is used

We use the details to calculate a preliminary range, to decide whether the ZIP code is in the usual service area, and to call or text you about the project if you asked us to. Photos are for looking at the floor. They are not published on the website, and they are not used as advertising.

We do not sell your name, phone number, email, photos, or project details. We do not use them to build an advertising profile.

What the site stores on its own

The site uses a session cookie so an estimate can stay on the same page while you move through the steps, and so Mike can sign in to the private dashboard. That cookie is not an advertising cookie. The site does not run a third-party analytics or advertising tag.

How long it stays

Project details and photos stay long enough for Mike to price the work and to keep a record of what was discussed. If you want your contact information or photos deleted, call or text and say so. We will delete what we can still find, except for a record we have to keep for a job that was actually performed or a quote that was accepted.

The price on the screen

A range shown by the estimator is not a contract and not a request for payment. The privacy of your information does not change that. The terms page explains what the range is and what it is not.
